Life Skills have been defined as “the abilities for adaptive and positive behaviour that enable individuals to deal effectively with the demands and challenges of everyday life” (WHO).
Social Emotional Learning (SEL) has long term benefits for the children in academics, behaviours, attitudes and skill development.
Growing Up Social Playshop (GUSP) caters to all the above-mentioned skillsets and much more. GUSP aims to enhance and build one’s inner-image in order to bring out the best in them, to project their positive winning image to self and others.
Our mission is to evolve and equip children to cope up with the current challenges they face in their crucial and growing up years; in areas of Social, Emotional & Personal Effectiveness.
GUSP is known to create a safe space for children, whether teens or tweens, to share their experiences, practice their newly learned lifeskills and move forward on their way to excellence and empowerment. Over the years, our facilitators have collectively worked with thousands of children and have seen them grow and thrive!
Founders bring in their years of knowledge, experience and wisdom to design unique experiential programs for children. Programs are incorporated with Image enhancement skills and Louise Hay’s philosophy, the best seller of ‘You Can Heal Your Life’. It aims to bring about positive development in children. Growing Up Social Playshop brings you the unique combination of learning in a fun way.
GUSP also renders guidance and tools through “Power of Positive Parenting” programs designed for parents who seek to ease their pathway of parenting.
Sessions are conducted in small groups, so that each child gets equal and personal attention for better learning. Our programs are experiential and incorporated with fun-filled practical activities, role plays, audio and visual activities, guided meditations to name a few.
All sessions are conducted by our professionals, Certified Image Consultants and HYL teachers Certified & Licensed by HayHouse Inc. USA.
